Password - Reset Diocesan Password
If you have forgotten the password for your Diocesan account or would like to change it for any reason, please complete the following steps.
Tip: If you are not able to log in to your computer, you can complete these steps on your personal device such as mobile phone, tablet, or your home computer.
If that is not possible you could also use a colleague's computer, just be sure to use a private or incognito tab as to not change anything on their account.

Open an internet browser on the device. (Eg. Chrome or Safari.)
- In the URL Bar at the top enter https://userportal.lism.catholic.edu.au/.

In the Diocesan Authentication window select – “Forgot Password”.
- In the Account Recovery Username page, enter your Diocesan username then click Next.
- On the Recovery Method page, you will have the option to choose your email or mobile number.

Select the most easily accessible to you, then type in your Mobile Number or Personal Email Address as required and click Next.
Note: These details must match your personal contact details that were entered in the Profile Details page on your Account.
- Enter the Recovery Code into the Recovery code field and click Next.
- Now that your identity has been confirmed, you will be able to set your new password.

Enter your new password and Click Save when you are ready to proceed.
Note:
Your new password must be:
At least 6 characters
Medium strength or greater
Standard keyboard characters with no spaces
Tips for stronger passwords:
Use a mixture of:
Lowercase letters (a-z)
Uppercase letters (A-Z)
Numerals (0-9)
Special characters (eg. #$!)
Better with 8 or more characters
Try to avoid entries including your name or birthday
Try to avoid 'dictionary' words
Try to avoid common patterns such as '123' or 'aaa'
Your password will now be updated across our managed services.
Important: Once completed, please restart your device and ensure you connect to the Wi-Fi with your new password prior to logging back into your device.
