Guest Wi-Fi - Registering with OnLocation
To gain guest Wi-Fi access at our School or Office sites, you will need to register with our visitor management system called OnLocation. You can register by using either the Kiosk at Reception, or by scanning the QR Code with your smartphone.
During the registration process, OnLocation will request details like your full name, email address, mobile number and the name of the staff member being visited (if applicable).
Once registered, your email address can then be used to authenticate to the dlcsl-guest Wi-Fi SSID to gain access to the internet at these sites for up to 12 hours per day.
-
Upon entry to the site, you will be required to sign into the OnLocation Kiosk at Reception or via the QR Code on your smartphone.

Guest W-Fi helpful tips
Guest Sign In provides Wi-Fi access for 12 hours, should a guest be attending over multiple days they will need to register with Onlocation each day.
Some devices may need to be re-authentication if it goes into sleep mode or is restarted as the connect automatically option on device may not have been selected. Its important to note that the connect automatically will not overwrite the 12 hour access rule.
Guest devices are limited to 4 devices registered to any one user at a time, previously registered devices are held for 30 days and are registered via their MAC address.
Some devices have an option in their Wi-Fi settings to have a “Private” or “Anonymous” mode. This randomizes the device's MAC address, and makes the device look like a different one each time, this can use up the device limitations.
NOTE: If the user receives the message “login error, please retry” when trying to authenticate after entering their email address, it means that they have too many devices registered.
If the network interface on the device is set to “Private” or “Anonymous” this could use up the device limitation. If this is the case, SSO / RSO to submit a ticket through to OPS to correct the issue then advise Guest of limitations.
