Guest Wi-Fi - Connecting A Chromebook
This Article will assist you with connecting a Chromebook to the Guest Wi-Fi network.
Note: Depending on your model of Chromebook, not all options may be available.
Access to the Guest Network is provided for upto 12 hours from the time of initial connection.
As a guest please sign into the Who’s On Location iPad located in the School or Office’s Administration.
This will ask you to provide an email address that you will use later.
Click on the Wi-Fi Symbol near your clock in the bottom right of your screen, this will open your settings menu, please click the network option from the list:
From the list of available networks, click on dlcsl-guest Wi-Fi network
After connecting you will see the dlcsl-guest network mention signing into the network, in most cases the website in step 4 will appear automatically, but sometimes you may need to click on the prompt that appears above your network list.
A login website should appear, please enter the email address used when signing into the Who’s On Location iPad, select i accept the terms of use and click Log in:
Once connected you should be greeted with the Lismore Diocese landing page
Quick Troubleshooting Steps:
Forgetting Wi-Fi to re-enter Details:
Click on the Clock in the bottom right on the screen, this will open your settings menu
Click on dlcsl-guest network
From the list of available networks, in Known networks, please click dlcsl-guest to be taken to Network Settings
In Network Setting, please select Forget
Once forgotten, dlcsl-guest will temporarily disappear from Network Settings
Close out of Network Settings and once again click on the clock, Please follow the steps at the top of this page for Connecting to reconnect to the Guest Wi-Fi Network.
